In a “why didn’t I think of this sooner” moment today, I converted my acrylic dosing container to Mur-lok push connect fittings. I had already converted one of my Jebao dosing pumps, but was using bottles with that previously. Now I‘m set to use this container, and have the benefit of rigid RO tubing.

Simply loosen the plastic air line nipples, take a step drill bit, and drill out the top of the container to the proper size. My container had an acrylic threaded ring glued on the inside, which came off easily in the drilling process. I suggest drilling this outside or in the garage as it makes a mess and the smell of drilling acrylic could bother you or others. Give the container a good rinse to get the shavings out, install the fittings, and done!
