Convert Vectra M2 1" to 1.25" Output

Hello Reefers,
I ordered a Waterbox 6025 Peninsula that uses a 1.25" return line. I want to get the Vectra M2 pump however it only has a 1" output. Waterbox recommended using a hose clamp on the barb, but I'm wondering if there are any other alternatives.

I considered using a few inches of 1" PVC from the output and then fit the 1.25" hose around the outer diameter of the pipe which is 1.31" - I could shave it down a little bit and then clamp it.

This sounds like a trip to a place that sales pvc. You'll want to get an adapter(s) that can accommodate the hose.

If you're going to attach a hose, you'll want a barb fittings that fit the ID.

Yeah I was thinking that the barb is the safest way. I'll google around more for some adapters.
