converting from Zeovit to AF

i understand there are few bacteria type of dosing - Bio S , pro bio s , -NP Pro , Pro Bio F.

My No3 is 5ppm and po4 0.04ppm

which combination should i use to lower No3 ?

Whats your water volume? I will suggest first 2 weeks of bio S and then Pro bios and NP Pro.

Pro bio F is generally recommended for nano tank and has a combination of bacteria and media together. If you wish you can dose but you dont need that.

Depends how much surface you give the bacteria to grow and work. For my 50 G I have 3 litre siporax, 250 ml life bio fil and a big single rock structure. So, it works for me. But you need to seed them and wait for at least for 2-3 months before they start lowering your nutrients. Also keep in mind they will lower your PO4 too.

You have less rock compared to a 500l system. I would suggest to add 2lit of siporax to your sump. Also, wash the siporax before you put it in your system.

Bio S is important because it convert the ammonia into NO3 and then Probios further convert it. So, although biofil will help to kick start the process but its better you seed the system with bio s for long term. 2l of biofil should be good enough but you need to replace 20% of it monthly
