Cooked Clam Shells For Aquarium?

I have cooked clam shells that have been steamed and I've been wondering if I can use them for saltwater aquariums for aesthetic purposes if I sterilize/clean them further.

i dont see any reason not to.

only concern is make sure you use tank safe cleaning methods
