I know there are a few peeps in the club that are just now setting up their tanks, and will be adding rock soon. I thought this was a really cool idea.

I know a number of people that have setup their rock scape just like this using the plastic sticks that are reflectors for snow depth that you can get at home depot in NE ohio. the cool thing is that when the re-aqua scape it works out much the same way. I have not thought about pegging corals like this but I did drill for the frag plugs. This seems far superior to that. I am sold and will be plaing with this soon. Thanks Chris.

Only problem is the type of rock you have may or may not be easily drilled, I tried this years ago and some rock was to hard to drill and some just broke into pieces after trying to drill it. I guess it all depends on what you have and how hard you want to work on it to achieve the desired results.
Super glue gel always worked for me with a whole lot less work and gave the same results, Maybe i'm just a little lazy...

I agree I have some rocks that I have been able to drill perfectly for frag plugs and this has really helped me a ton. I think that using a bunch of different methods works well. I have rock that needs some drilling. I had a friend with a huge tank that swore that drilling his rock for placement was one of the best thing he ever did for his rock work. I have also seen a tank where the vast majority of the rock was elevated above the substrate and that was a super cool design. I plan on duplicating that on my build.
