Don't blast it with too much light or flow.

Low to moderate on both. It loves to eat actual food too.

Whoops, my mistake for trying to help as it looks angry. I'll just go ahead and talk to someone else who didn't drop money for a coral they didn't not know nothing about...

Peace.

It is a single polyp that is a fresh cut and is nearly fully open after being placed in the tank about an hour before it is perfectly healthy. I appreciate your concern but i dont need to thread filled with care advice when i didnt ask for it nor need it

You come on a forum where people ask for help all the time. You post a random thread about a blasto, implying you don't know anything about it when you say "anyone see ones like this before".

Then you also post a picture showing it being all angry.

You immediately get people trying to help you, and you immediately act like a dick.
Here's a pro-tip (opps sorry, I know you know everything) but you might want to actually take time explain what the heck you want instead of posting an essentially nothing post.

I appreciate your appreciation of my concern. But I'm sure I'll remember your bs the next time I see you post something for help.

Oh wait, you know everything already. Have fun, jerk.
You should learn now that assuming people lack knowledge on something and giving your 2 sense about it when its not asked is rude in the first place, I do this as a hobby and help people with their tanks and corals at work daily and i never enter a conversation by assuming someone is clueless. I would love for you describe what looking "angry" means if you like i can give you my exact flow patterns daily readings on all major parameters par readings at each point in my lighting schedule and more without knowing any of this information your comment is pointless so please leave me alone. (Also if a mod would like to close this thread its now become an argument that doesnt need to be in this forum)

I'm assuming you "lack knowledge". If you had so much wisdom, you'd know that not everyone knows everything. That's why we have a forum like this, so that we can all share information.

Not once did I disrespect you, but you sure came at me with an attitude. And incase you haven't noticed, I ain't the one.

"t is a single polyp that is a fresh cut and is nearly fully open after being placed in the tank about an hour before it is perfectly healthy." Your lame attempt at acting like I don't know anything is null and void because what you wrote earlier says you know exactly what I mean by when I say the coral is "angry". Nice try.

Never once did I claim i know everything everyone is always learning in this hobby my point was i didnt ask for it and i dont want it on this thread never once did i say you didnt know what you were talking about i was giving context to what might be your concerns about the coral if you have anything productive to say please pm id love if you could help make my tank more successful otherwise stop making an butt of yourself by trying to 1 up someone in an argument by taking my words out of context

Then you should try learning how to communicate what is it you need before opening a random thread. If you don't want help, on forum like this, maybe you should make it clear what you want.

Dude my original post is clearly asking if anyone has seen a blasto like this before that is the question and it is clearly posted i dont know how much more obvious i need to make it do you want it in all caps

R2R was founded on the simple premise to develop a warm, friendly, suitable place to gather and discuss this hobby for people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. The “Be Nice” policy is something we take very seriously.

We highly encourage healthy debate here and understand not everyone will agree on all issues. In fact, we value healthy and even lively discussion of hobby issues and questions...this actually leads to advancements in our hobby, so we ALL win through these debates. What we will no not tolerate is the negativity, name calling, belittling attitude towards other members or the topics being discussed. We are not asking you to cease debating your positions. What we are asking is that you do so in a healthy, respectful manner.

What you don't seem to understand, is we cannot read your mind. I run through tickets (IT Tech) for a living, and if you had sent me that, I would have asked for more information. It isn't clear what you want, and sounded like you were asking for what experiences people have had with that coral.

I would bet that if people respond to this ticket, they'd agree with me, even though my methods aren't the nicest.

honestly not trying to be mean but i agree with the poster because he didn’t ask for help on it it’s more like he was asking if anyone has seen this type blasto more than anything

We would like to leave this thread open and create the space for continued interaction so let's focus any additional comments in this thread on the following question:

[...]i was just curious if anyone else has seen this color morph

Thank you in advance!

Hello friends. While we want to be able to allow as much debate and interaction as possible to continue we feel like some discussions degrade to a point that it is no longer in the best interest of the forum or participants to allow it to continue. That being said we’re going to put this one to rest and we hope you understand. Have a good day.
