Cool hitch hiking shrimp on torch coral

hey y'all, i have yet another hitch hiker for you to ID.

i bought a 2 headed torch coral recently as it was on sale, and i found a weird thing crawling around the tentacles when i got it home, it actually came out when i dropped the frag in my acclimation bucket and was disturbed, showing its long claws. it was a shrimp!

I cant see any markings on him and hes 99% transparent bar 1 blob of something (guts?) in his body. some searching later and im thinking Periclimenes sp ? possible baby Coral banded shrimp?

in the one below you can see how long his claws are!

ID would be appreciated, and feeding tips too if possible, i tried feeding the coral some brine shrimp and mysis but i dont know if the shrimp was taking some for itself.

Looks like a cuapetes tenuipes. There are various species of Cuapetes, that have marginal differences, so identification can be tricky. They feed on parasites, algae and plankton. They are normally found on found on anemones and bubble coral (Plerogyra).

Wow super cool, eyes look just like the ones i see in google imgs. Any idea if they are keepable long term? Should i be culturing plankton or something now? Lol

I think the shrimp will do fine with what is in the tank, especially if you feed your corals. Just watch your torch for signs of stress from the shrimp.

I feel like the shrimp has been on the torch for a long time now as the torch doesnt seem to care much, ive seen the little dude crawl between the 2 heads and it doesnt bother the torch much.

It was pure luck that i got the torch with the shrimp too as the lfs must have had almost 20 of the same looking ones in a row, and i eenie meenie miney moed this one. Hope the little dude lives on!
