Cool soft coral id

Hi seen this at LFS, looks unusual to me, does anyone know what it is?

Colt coral Cladiella/Klyxum sp, everyone mistakes them for Kenya trees Capnella, similar appearance different genus. Colts also don't drop babies nearly as often and get much much larger. I have seen some that were better than 2ft tall.

it’s slightly different from Kenya tree the polyps are massive, the hole coral is about 8 inch. This is from a shop in Liverpool

they must of had a nice shipment of soft corals around here, they also got a nice green Stereonephthya, not seen one in green before in the uk

Southwest Marines always has a nice selection of softies, they use TMC but also Import from Vietnam, that piece is very nice.

that was my initial tough got it with me now, I think it will look nice as a centre piece at the front of the tank, just for its size. Going to check your tread I’ve been converted to softy’s myself in the last few years.

Honestly in MY OPINION I just really enjoy the natural look and movement soft corals offer. Im not a big stick guy so it works out in my favor!

Whats funny is 20 years ago these were much more common than Kenya trees, kind of rare niw though. Here is mine.

I recently acquired this cutting from a local reefing buddy... said it was green kenya... looked possible in the photos of it in the bag.. Got it home and well....

Big fan of softies and have had quite a few over the years...but... what is it?
