I have just got a fluval 3.0 marine/sea LED 25000k light now on the app I have it set to cyan 100% blue 100% purple 100% pink 100% and cool white at 40% is that okay? And what exactly does the cool white light do? Thank you!

White light is mostly to help our viewing experience. The corals don't benefit from it that much.

This.

While there is some beneficial red in the cool white, honestly, your corals don't need it.

And as far as the cyan and pink, turn it way down. It will look better to you and there isn't much benefit to it. The cyan has some but it's mostly for your eyes as well same with the pink.

So, in short, crank up blue if it's not windex blue, crank up purple and have a little cyan, hardly any pink if any at all and a bit of white that looks good to you.

Keep in mind, violet and blue are the PAR monsters so you should get your corals used to them slowly.

So what do you suggest as a percentage for each one purple, pink, cyan, blue, and cool white the lights just went out now so it's perfect time for me to go into my app and change them. I knew I had it set up wrong

This is how I have set now what you think?

I would put the cyan down some more and the cold white wait to adjust to look good to your eyes when the lights come back on .

not sure how strong that light is but, keep an eye on stuff running the violet and blue at 100% so you don't roast it.
