Always loved our harlequin shrimp!

Would love to get one, but heard you have to feed them starfish. Do you? If not, what does it eat?

My cleaner shrimp is pretty awesome. He is super active when I get near the tank as he thinks it’s feeding time and starts jumping from rock to rock. And anytime my hand goes in the tank he immediately jumps on it.

We originally got him due to asterina infestation but we kept the little guy since he was so cool. He was always out and would even crawl on our hands. We ended up feeding him a small chocolate chip starfish every couple weeks.

I had one for 3 years, but he just died a few weeks ago. I still have a blood red fire shrimp that’s pretty cool though
