I want to replace my damsel in my 75 gallon aquarium with a cool looking fish, I was thinking about a Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse. If anybody has any suggestions for another fish that would be appreciated.

The fish I currently have are: A pair of snowflakes, A coral beauty, A Blue (Devil) Damsel, and a blenny that I forgot the name of, A peppermint shrimp and a skunk shrimp. What do you currently have in your 75? (Sorry if you have a build thread I haven't seen, and missed a stock list lol)
Real early thought: Flame Wrasse (maybe a little more money then you might want to spend though, don't know budget either lol)
I thought about the purple tilefish but got scared that it would not be hardy. What's your experience with them?Purple tilefish.

The issue with tilefish is that new arrivals often develop swim bladder infections due to improper decompression. But if they make it past that point they are quite hardy. They accept most aquarium fare, and become quite bold over time. I would liken them personality-wise to dartfish, though don't do well in groups, are best kept singly or in pairs. Like dartfish they are also prolific jumpers, so a tight fitting lid is a must.I thought about the purple tilefish but got scared that it would not be hardy. What's your experience with them?
What's their personality like? (Would you say similar to a Zebra Barred Dartfish? )
T.Y. in advance
Get another species rather than trying to get prs of the same species. Females tend to transition into males, even with a male present, and fights between males of the same species are worse than displays to males of different species.Okay thanks, so if I buy a male flasher with a female then the male will act more colorful?
