Howdy,

I've been culturing pods since July 6th, now the pods that are in the container are getting big but I can't find any new offsprings. I feed phyto every couple days and obviously the water is adequate otherwise they'd have died.

Any thoughts?

Young ones are likely present and favor nooks and crannies in the rock

unless you have bionic eyes you can't see them, they are too small. What kind of pods are they, they are different sizes. You can try shining a flashlight behind the tank and look in from the front, you might be able to see them this way if you have good eyes. The best way is to get a jewlers loupe to see them, they are pretty cheap on amazon.

I would also add that if you started July 6 then they are ready to harvest, especially if you see many adults. I harvest tisbe after 2 weeks, tigger after 3 weeks, and apo after 4 weeks. If you can't see them, then you have tisbe or apo. They are too small, so you will need a 50 micron sieve to harvest them. Good luck

They're tisbe apex and Tigger.

I can see large types of one type, how long till I can see mature ones ?

Should I just seperate assuming there are grown ones ?
