I am new to the reef hobby. Are copepods a good thing for a tank? Should I add more live sand?.. I have 40lbs with a 75 gallon. How many corals should I introduce to the tank to keep it healthy?

Current tank: 75 gallon 40
Fish:1snowflake clown, 1 foxface, 1 starry blenny,
1 damsel
Coral: mushroom rock, Kenya tree, green star polyp, xenia

Clean up crew: 20 crabs, 6 snail mix, 1 blood shrimp

They are great for your tank! As for the amount of sand, how deep is it? I would suggest you stay under 2 inches, unless you want to run a deep sand bed, then I would say go to at least 4". On the coral's develop a plan and add slowly. What kind of lighting and flow do you have, and what interests you coral wise?

Watch out for the Kenya Tree and GSP, they tend to grow quickly.

Depends on what corals you add. They eat calcium in the water so adding too many at a time will cause a swing.

Hi copepods and amphipods all good but with that many fish there population may decline quickly even with that amount of sand and rock
