Copepods and worms: where did they come from?

I found out today my 2 month old tank has a lot of copepods and unknown worms. What kind of worms are these and where did both come from? I purchased most of my fish and corals from LA. So they might come in as hitchhikers?

Your hitch hikers often come in live rock, so if you set up with wet live rock, they'll most likely have originated there.

No I set up dry rock. They might come from frags.
