Yep. On my new tank I’m trying not to accidentally add the amphipods that eat all the copepods. They were a menace.

I did order phosphate RX, but ran into an issue with shipping, but now it's going away good, manual removal and clean up crew are killing it..no chemicals needed for it yet... fingers crossed

You can also add UV sterilizer

I’m on the edge of getting UV for standby. It like every other component is so expensive. LOL Or at least when exaggerated by all that comes with a new tank build. There will come a time and having it will pay off.
+1 on clean up crew and not adding chemicals. Good balance.

I plan to run mine 24/7 to clear water and etc
