You can, but I believe a pure phytoplankton formula would be better, marine snow contains more ingredients than necessary for pods. Something like this perhaps: https://amzn.to/3S3lRYw.

You can also culture your own phyto, plenty of guides on youtube and probably on here.

yes, but as mentioned above, phyto is more effective. Dumping that in your display tank just to feed pods will spike nutrients and fuel algae growth. Dumping that in a pod culture will have some rot and spoil the water and may spoil the culture.

Phyto is completely harmless to either set up, its a safer choice, and cheaper since you can culture it yourself.
