Copepods & filter bag types

Anyone know if this particular filter sock will allow copepods to flow through? Store said this particular one would but when we opened it the material felt like a thin diaper and we’re questioning if it will block copepod passage or not. Can’t find anything regarding my q online/Red Sea and no answer at the store.. Thanks.

I have never seen a sock that would. I am one of the silly people that picks the copapods out of my filter socks.

You probably are thinking amphipods. Copepods are way to small to pick out.

I would not worry to much. Not allot of copepods go down the overflow comparable to what is in your tank. If there is that many you probably have allot in your tank already. They are very small like less than 200 micron for adults Tisbe depending on the type. Tiger pods are larger around 2mm for adult.

I ran a filter sock for a total of one day. I don't think it's worth it ‍
