Copepods/fudge questions

pushing around the idea of adding a refugium to my biocube 32 it’s over a year old I already got the fuge box and light from intank aquatics bout to buy a starter pack from algae barn of cheato and copepods-
Are there any downsides to adding pods?

Will they make/survive the travel from middle chamber through filter sponge through return pump into my display?

Do clownfish,dartfish,gobys,cardinal fish eat pods?

I don’t believe the fish you listed eat pods, however pods are nice for general tank cleanliness too.

You’d actually be better adding amphipods. But there’s no real downside.
Pretty sure most things including coral will eat a pod.

Bigger. Eat larger pieces of detritus. Larger fish may be more likely to eat them.
