Copepods into the skimmer?

I have my refugium set up after my skimmer in my Red Sea 350 sump. The water flow into the fuge is pretty strong, but the water level through the baffle is about even (doesnt waterfall into the fuge). I found one pretty big pod in my skimmer which is the only pod I have seen in the entire system since seeding them a week ago. Just wondering if these guys are likely to be swimming backwards into my skimmer chamber or if this was just a straggler.

Its more likely that it made its way to your display and then back down to the skimmer.
