Sorry don't have a picture will try and get one latter but not sure it will come out as they are so small. Long story short looking in my refugium yesterday and noticed quite a few copepods ..nothing new there I have seen them a thousand times but then suddenly I saw quite a few swimming fish that look like baby freshwater guppies- extremely tiny but they were free swimming and had a visible clear tail fin . they look nothing like the pods I normally see and have tons of that look more like shrimp and cling to chaeto walking around. These were maybe 1/16 of an inch long at most . Could they be a type of pod I am not familiar with or possible some baby clown fish that hatched ?? any thoughts ??

Possible I work a lot so not sure but clowns are in main tank - these are in the refugium . I guess its possible but I always thought you needed rotifers and brine shrimp to be successful . Wouldn't that be neat if they could survive an overflow / skimmer / pump and thrive in just a normal refugium set-up with live rock and chaeto

Without a picture I cant tell, but I'd bet they are something along the lines of mysis or glass shrimp

OK here is the long awaited video . Its lousy I know I am no George Lucas be patient they start appearing around 25-35 seconds in . Let me know your thoughts if I get positive reviews I will start as a new thread in the clown fish forum ... Here it is

Depending on which phone, you might be able to click on the GIF options and make a short 6 sec clip

let me know if this works

It works. But it is a bit small.

I can't really help with the identification, but for everyone else viewing, right click on the gif and press "open image in new tab", then crank up the zoom, it will help you see better.
