there is always algae. there will never be 0 algae. Pods are a good thingAmphipods are still a good thing right? For whatever reason, even though I have zero nitrates, I have high phosphates which is causing algae to grow. I'm wondering if my live rock is leaching phosphates? Don't amphipods and copepods appear when there's algae?
So since they are not moving, I have concluded it must be the frozen mysis shrimp food sticking to the glass, smh.So looking at pictures, I thought these look like copepods.... they are getting bigger, but they are struck to glass and never move (other than slight movement from water flow).
I have a dozen or so on the front glass. (the other many spots I think are a spiral worm or snails). Getting ready to do a water change. Should I scrape them off?
Thanks in advance for helping me!!!![]()
