Copepods question.

This may be silly but just wanted to know whether you're supposed to add copepods directly from the fridge to the aquarium or let it get to room temperature first? And if you have a AIO like me are you meant to turn off all pumps and skimmer and if so for how long? Thanks

I usually get them to tank temperature

Float bag to get to tank temp, when ready to add them, turn off pumps (to let the pods settle into the rock work) for about 15 min. Best to do at night when lights are off, and fish asleep.

dang I've been adding them straight from the fridge, would they have died?
