Every few months I purchase Galaxy pods from algae barn for around $139 plus dollars. After a month or so most are gone. I've tried to grow my own in a different tank with no luck. My tank looks good and I know there is no correct answer, but should I keep spending the money every other month? Thanks. I think algae barn has a great product. Just wondering for me should I spend the money

Are you sure they're gone? Do you have many fish that are eating them all? I've only added copapods once and haven't needed to buy more luckily.. just keep getting the phyto to feed them.

Unless you have fish that specifically eat them (like a mandarin) I'm not sure you NEED them... I only added them as a food source. But I wanted a mandarin. I'd guess they could serve another purpose that benefits the tank.

No you don't ! And more then likely you still have them . Every situation is different you just have to do what you feel is best
