Has anyone ever ordered from aguaculturenurserey.com in the way of pods or reef soup or the 4 mix of pods because algaebarn hasn't been looking that great and a few other people said the same because I've been ordering alot from algaebarn and it used to have alot more in the bags because I always buy the big bags every month and they are getting smaller so I don't think that they can handle all the sales that there doing. So can anyone help me out with this??

I have in the past and my order was fine. Something that I think happens with all large suppliers of pods is that they run into the "Gotta get it out the door" syndrome and forget about quality control. I will say that I didn't have any issues with my order and that I was able to see my pods in my bags plain as day.

Keep in mind that every order will be different, so your mileage may vary. Need to be careful what I say because I have had my first "political" experience here on the forum recently and I thought it was about helping others in the hobby. Almost makes me not what to try to help

You may have a better experience dealing with someone that is local to you that raise copepods. Phyto on the other hand is not an issue when dealing with anyone (just the density of it). You can look at your local Facebook groups and boards to see if someone is raising them (they will tend to have better quality control - not bashing the big boys, but hobbyist have higher expectations and not staff that have no clue).

I am more of a rotating person myself. I give each of my sources a chance and they come off my list if I run into quality issues.

Overall I am very happy with my order. No bottle shaking necessary and I received exactly what I ordered. Will definitely use him again. I had my order shipped because I wanted to do the same as I did with AlgaeBarn. Nate came through with a solid shipment.

FYI, I am by no means affiliated with his business and I get absolutely nothing for posting this. Just my way of paying it forward for someone that stands by their product.

I already added them but I will definitely be getting them there again because they look just like algaebarns used to look you could see them swimming like crazy in the bags but the next time that I order I'll post them on here but tomorrow I have amphipods coming from royal reef and there running there's buy one get one free of 1000 amphipods and I ordered 2000 so I'll be getting 4000 amphipods from them tomorrow

Yeah it's a really good deal for sure and mandarin won't eat the big ones but they will eat the babies so that's really a good thing because they will reproduce more that way
