Has anyone been successful at culturing copepodes? If so please help i currently using an old tank to try and do it. Any info will help.

Yes there are people culturing them, not to long ago I saw bottles for sale in the for sale section.

A quick search of the internet will bring up articles and videos. Basicly you will need the pods, macro algae, a light (sunlight will do ) and some phyto.

@Emoney33 Just wanted to give an update and see how everyone else's attempts are going. Here is a picture and video of my 1st harvest. It has been exactly 4 weeks since I started.

I'm three weeks into my first culture of tisbe pods. Doing my first water change this evening. What kind of setup are you using?

I'm using a 5 gallon tank from Walmart that has a hood with small LED light. No heater. A small airpump and airstone with a small trickle of bubbles. I just add PhytoFeast daily. The only issue I came across was that I think I over harvest the 1sr time so it took a while for my population to recover other than that I've had the same population going for over 2 months. I have 2 mandarins in my 75 gallon and only added copepods 2 times in past 3 months and are healthy. Hope this helps.
