Copepods?

Tiny little guys (2mm max) in little sand nests, one of them has a little burrow they hide in.
I'm guessing they're copepods but I'm not sure. I can't get better pictures of them either, they're right in the curved glass corner

Even being new to the hobby I feel like I should have figured that out. I was just researching using them as food a few days ago.

I wouldn't worry about it. That's what the forum is for...to help one another. Bottom line is to enjoy and try and have fun while learning.
