Copods in hob filters

I have a 125 gallon , with two hob filters, I clean the filter cartridges atleast every two weeks. As I pulled them out to rinse them out tonight. I noticed they was full of copods, This has to be a positive thing

I've been having alt in my tank for a while, first time I seen them in my hob filters tho. Guess that's why one of my red starfish hangs out on the lip of one of my filters all the time

That's a very good thing ! I got pods everywhere, on my sponges , rocks, under my rocks, it got to the point that I can go a week without feeding my fish and they don't even complain and my mandarin could not be happier or fatter !
