So I have a 20 gallon QT with a pintail wrasse, an exquisite wrasse and a small potters angelfish right now. About a week into QT all fish showed signs of ich so i began copper. Its been about 2 weeks now of therapeutic levels and my pintail wrasse is acting stange. It swims around the tank upside down and will even eat food completely upside down occassionaly. It also has been getting startled easily lately. I have an ammonia alert badge that has read 0 ammonia the entire time but I decided to test nitrites and the api test came back completely purple with a very high nitrite concentration. Will copper give this false reading? I have no clue how it would be possible as I use filter media from my DT and a large sponge filter that sits in my dt for weeks prior to tje qt setup. Any help would be appreciated!

Copper is at 1.84 ppm
Ammonia reads 0 on badge
Nitrite 5ppm
Temp 78 degrees
Salinity 1.025
