Hi,

I've been using Mardels Coppersafe in my QT, was told that was the best to use by a LFS. But I can't seem to find it anywhere now. I was reading a bunch of different reviews and comments on other copper brands. I wanted to know suggestions on which one to go with? I'm mainly treating as prophylactically for new fish in a 10g.

I done a quick look and didn't see anyone with it in stock either. I did find it in a gallon jug in stock. If you could use that much...

That would definitely be way too much. The 4 oz would have lasted me a while but sadly the entire thing leaked.

most folks on r2r use copper power if you refer to chart in the link chelated copper is safe to use with copper bands. i just lost a copper band after 10 days in QT due to it not eating. most folks ill recommend trying live black worms, live brine shrimp or clams

I recommend using Copper Power in conjunction with a Hanna High Range Copper Colorimeter.

+1 ^^^ Copper Power's dosage listed on the bottle is pretty much right on, whereas Coppersafe has had way too many inconsistent results.
