The water in my quarantine tank is currently stained yellowish green due to antibiotic use. If I try to measure its copper level with a Hanna colorimeter, would I still get accurate results considering the abnormal hue?

Thanks for your help.

The Hanna checkers do a first calibration against the tank water to get a baseline, and then after you add the reagent they measure again to get a color difference. So in theory it should work, but I'm not sure if the green color would throw things off. Probably best to ask Hanna directly, they have a sponsor forum here: https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/hanna-instruments.941/
