I have a small powerhead I used in a tank with copper a year ago. After sitting dry for a year I put it in with some live rock I was curing. I completely forgot I had that powerhead in copper until it was to late. Is this rock trash now or can I still use it? The rock was suppose to be going into my sump for my reef tank. The tank the powerhead was in I only used copper in it once before shutting it down and selling everything.

Hopefully I’m posting in the right place.

When my fish got ich a while back I took a powerhead out of my DT and placed it into my QT with copper because I didn't have enough flow in there and it was late at night so I didn't have time to go and get a new powerhead. I left it in there the whole treatment and after I placed it back into my DT and never had an issue.

Id run an icp after a while to check. Possibly just run some copper eemoving resin for few weeks to be on safe side.
