Copper or CP

quarantining some fish that can handle copper and CP. what is a better option?

I prefer CP since it's one and done. Copper have to test levels daily and adjust as needed.

I really like CP. It's a one time dose and it seems to be very effective. It's also a medicine vs a poison (copper).

Unfortunately I'm QT'ing wrasses right now which can be sensitive to CP so I'll have to rely on copper.

If you can get a prescription for the cp and the fish you are getting tolerate it, then I feel like that might be the easier/safer route to take.

It depends on the fish.

Wrasses, anthias and Hippo Tangs always use copper.

Everything else use CP.

I myself use copper fish so they are not susceptible to parasites.
