Copper Overdose?!?!?

Recently started Cupramine treatment in my QT for a BHT showing signs of Ich. Following the instructions, I only dosed 0.5 ml to 10 gallons of water. My goal was to gradually raise the copper levels to 0.5 ppm over the course of 4 days.

Tested the levels after dosing (Hannah Checker) and it already showed 0.51 ppm?!?!? Did I miss something?!?!?

I retested an hour later and verified the result. Should I immediately do a water change to try and lower it?

0.5 is the therapeutic dose. Unsure how that happened with your dose though.

If the fish are doing fine then no need to do water changes.
