So im up here visiting my family and will be moving up here (PA) in the end of August. I have no source of RO/DI water anymore when i get up here due to me not working in a LFS and there are no LFS's around here. With that said i need a RO/DI unit!!

I was wondering since the house up here has some copper pipeing will the pipes leach copper out??? If so, will the RO/DI unit take that out?

Thanks :)

allentown is 30 mins away from me wooohooo :D

yes and yes........i wouldnt take any chances...get an RO/DI or at least get your water in jugs from the store.

copper pipes now a days should be coated with zinc to limit corrosion. just like your standard penny.

I was going to get a unit anyways, i was just wondering if it would take it out so, cool it will!! :)

Sucks the only store around here is Phishy Business...:(

I'm really spoiled down in FL. About 7 shops within a 20 miles radius..

sorry for the hi-jack ... yes u can come and check my sh1tt-Y tank :)
