Hi I need a little help I can any one help me dose copper power to my qt its 100ltr dead on I used a jug to measure it im from the uk the bottle instructions say use ounces of fluid I haven't got a clue how to break it down into ml with us and uk litres and gallons been different measurements would it be better to have my Salinity at 1025

This isnt too difficult just convert each unit.

100l is roughly 26.4us gallons.

1 us oz is roughly 30ml.

Using this info you can dose your tank according to the directions.

Most, including myself, use a high range hanna checker for their QTs.

I'm not that confident bud haha new to all this stuff and dont want to mess it all up im using api test kit

???? usually you only raise to 1.0 and then raise to 2.0 slowly unless dealing with velvet then you want to get to 1.0 immediately then raise every 3 or 4 hours until you reach 2.0

Following the directions on the bottle will get you really close.
Confidence has nothing to do with being able to convert units from standard to metric.
I make google do it for me..........takes 2 seconds.

Also, if you are going to get the hannah checker, i would order it now online because you wont find it in the LFS.
And dont dose anything until you have it and ready to use it.

Youll still need to use the conversions to dose it in the first place. Blindly dosing then testing isnt a good way to use any additive ime.
