Copper power : Cooper lvl

From display to qt I got 71 gal qt tank I did look at the 2.5ppm I am using copper power when I test with Hanna checker it showed 1.75 was I supposed to make it 2.0 and hold it 3 weeks???

Therapeutic level with chelated copper like Copper Power is 1.5 - 2.0
I usually keep it at 1.75

Once at therapeutic, you maintain for 14 days and then transfer to clean sterile QT to observe for 14 more days. This is a good move for copper sensitive fish.

Or maintain therapeutic level for 30 days in the same QT as long as the fish are doing well.

Thank you unfortunately don’t have a another tank I have to do a 90% water change to remove the copper or 70% do water change for Three weeks

By end of may it will be 80 days they have been in QT
