Copper power dose 2.5ppm?

Therapeutic range of chelated copper is 1.5 ppm - 2.0 ppm. So some of us like to hit the sweet spot right in the middle at 1.75 ppm. This is especially important as some fish are copper sensitive like puffers, etc. After all, copper is a poison.

The therapeutic range for chelated copper is 1.5 - 2.0 ppm. Been that way for 30-40 years now. It's shocking that MFGs of chelated copper don't seem to know that.

I agree with @Humblefish and @Big G

For what it's worth, I have run about two dozen + fish through copper power at 1.75ppm. Never had an issue with a parasite that made it through treatment at this level.

Several batches. 5 or 6 since I started using the Hanna checker. Always successful in removal of parasites this far.

That is one reason im thinking about switching back to copper as i can test tor it.

For a concentration of 1.75 with Copper Power its 10.5 ml per 10gallons . Each ML is around .167 of the concentration ...
