Emergency! Ich has wiped out my tank beside a tang and a clown! I’m trying to save them and treat them with copper power. How long do I qt them and treat with copper power? Is 2.0ppm level safe? I’ve read some thread and should I do copper power for 14 or 30 days?

14 days followed by a transfer to a sterile tank otherwise 30 days.

2 and even 2.25 if the fish will tolerate. There were instances of velvet surviving at higher concentrations although I haven’t personally experienced that.

14 days at 2.0ppm then transfer to sterile tank to reduce exposure to the Cu. Good luck!

I will do 30 days in 2.0ppm copper. Then I’m planning on using prazipro for the rest of the time while waiting for DT fallow. What do you guys think?

It's recommended that you start with 1.0 ppm of Copper Power and then bring it up to 2.0 ppm 24 hours later.
14 days then transfer to sterile tank for observation or if you do not have a 2nd setup then 30 days as others have stated.

Prazipro kills some internal parasites but not all. Best to combine with Metro. Together they usually eliminate most internal parasites. Plus you will also be eliminating the possibility of Uronema and Brooklynella with the Metro.
