So I ramped my QT from 0 to 1.76 over 7 days. Now I am reading that it might need to be at least 2.0 now instead of the standard of 1.75.

What is the new recommended level and should I increase?

Does it matter if I do it for 30 days or 15 days with transfer?

Thanks in advance!

I would do 2.0ppm instead of 1.75ppm if using a Hanna Checker to ensure accuracy. Doesn't matter if it is the 30 day or 15 day method (although I prefer 10 days, not 15). If copper is high enough, the time to kill the dinospore is very short.

Agree.

I've been running 2.0-2.5ppm with the last few batches. 14 days and transfer.

If you miss the 14th day, do you have to wait the full 30 days or can you still pull them out to a new tank for further treatment With general cure in a steril new tank? I hit 14 days two days ago but was too busy to do the transfer.
