Are you holding the test tube about 1/4" or so above the white card?
So 3 teaspoons is almost 15 ml. Assuming you are using Coppersafe?
Sure looks like they are accurate. Mine's coming this week. Looks like your sample might be just into the lower range of therapeutic range of chelated coppers: 1.5ppm -2.00ppm. Hard to be more definitive with a photo. Try squinting your eyes a bit when comparing. My wife's an artist and taught me that trick. Works pretty well the more you practice.
They are currently backordering the Hanna "High Level Copper" colorimeter. I'd call them for current delay times. Important to note that Hanna has not yet certified this unit for use in saltwater environments. That being said, it seems to work quite well if you have been following along with Hotrocks & 4Fordfamily recent postings on the unit. There have been threads I've seen since last summer of other R2R members using the unit. Mine will be here mid week. I've got 6 fish in Qt as of today on day 21 of Coppersafe. Will be interesting to try the meter and see how close my own eye has been with using the API Test Kit.

Thanks that was what I was thinking as well. Do you have a link for the Hanna checker? How long does it take to receive it?
