Hi all,
I have a quarantine tank set up for a velvety firefish and am dosing cupramine. I have a question though— does anyone know if copper is dangerous to a parakeet or any other animal, or should the fumes (if any) be ok?

No fume issues, indeed the upper limit for drinking water is right around typical dosing levels (not that you’d want to let pets drink your tank water!). Some aquarium meds are more toxic: malachite green, formalin and trichlorfon.
