I should add... I needed to remove my acans (micros? Lords? The formerly known as) when the CBB came. Thus far no additional coral has been targeted so sticking with the “mostly reef safe” for both butterflies.

I have a new LBB in my sump. Want to give him a few days to adust to the water after the long trip. Been giving him mussels, clams and frozen. Not sure if he's really eating yet. Will keep him there through the weekend. When he starts eating, I'll move him up the display with the CBB.

I started with brine shrimp with the LNB, and he just went for it. Mysis was too big and he wasn’t into bloodworms.

Onto minced scallop, shrimp, etc.

I had both those fish many years ago, they got along like brother and sister.

for some reason i guess they're same family butterfly longnose fighting with butterfly copperband - longnose been in the tank for a long time - i notice he had some white spot on him not sure what that is

I love my copperband. Mine was staring at his reflection after I had cleaned my glass. He didn't get agressive, just swam watching his reflection... It got me thinking. Would two copperbands get along well together? Can they be kept together?
I know things like powder blue tangs will kill each other upon site in an aquarium (I watched it happen in my tank a couple years ago. Was terrible.. )
Would CBBs just go at each other until one is dead or would they pair up or neither?

I wouldn't worry too much as long as the CBB is eating. They need to eat often given their tiny mouths. Mine hunts at night. It waits until everyone is asleep then he's constantly scavenging the rocks for pods. Mine had a tang and an angel fish chase him almost daily, but, mine submitted and they left him alone less and less. Now he's not really targeted more than any other fish a couple times a week and it's short lived. I am curious if two copper bands can live together in peace or not.
