I know they love worms but I didn't really think bristle worms were actually on the menu. I had my copperband for a little more than a year now. Never saw him snag a bristle worm. Or any of the dozen or so wrasses I keep that are supposed to eat bristles. I don't care much about them one way or another. I believe they are beneficial cleaners, but I also hate the bumps that come after accidental contact.

My copperband was eyeing something under a rock that caught my eye. I watched him pick at and remove a bristle worm about an inch long and then suck it down like nothing.

I know their stomach acid would destroy the bristles but i can't believe they can do that with out some grief on the way down!
