I got a copperband a couple days ago and he's pretty large and eats like a monster so I see him doing pretty good long term. I've seen a couple threads on here about how to sex copper bands and pairing. Although I haven't heard of many success stories. I have a question if someone does know how to pair them. Should I pair them in my 20g long qt or in dt? Also do you want to have them divided at first?

This is the information you are looking for.. even if you can sex them... keep in mind that the chance of successfully pairing them is low. 16.67% of a chance when releasing them together in a common tank.
