Coppersafe/copper power and uv

Trying to understand the process with cooper and UV..

Copper safe site says it’s safe with UV , but I’ve read in here not to use it with copper power.

Two lfs near me, who both use copper power, also run their uv lights on all the time.

Is it actually fact you shouldn’t? Are they just getting lucky?

I know cuprumaine you can’t

Let's get a chemist. I just always went by copper = NO UV.

Maybe ionic copper (cupramine or cuprion) are the issue with UV and chelated copper (coppersafe/copper power) aren't an issue.

Hot rocks...i always went by that as well, and then in conversation saw two stores doing it, and upon looking at copper safe site, read on there it was safe with UV

They are both chelated copper. I won't go into grave detail here but I would take whatever the coppersafe bottle says with a grain of salt. Several people have had major issues with the concentration of that product.
