Coppersafe Dosage

I am starting treatment tonight for ich. which jay has helped me out so much these past few days and am ready to start treatment tonight. My QT has 16 gallons of water and I will be treating a purple tang and bicolor blenny. I saw somewhere they recommend dosing .3ml/gal twice a day until the levels are reached. I will add 4.8 ml tonight, how many more doses will it take to get me to the correct levels and how slowly should I dose with a purple tang.

My bottle of Coppersafe states the dosage rate is 5ml per 4 gallons. You’ll need a total of 20ml to get 16 gallons to 2.5 ppm if your rate is the same.

When you do water changes, be sure to measure and dose the new water before you add it. That makes it much easier to get right.
