Fish have visible signs of ich. I started dosing Coppersafe this evening in my QT (30 gallons). My goal is to take 5 days~ to bring it up to a therapeutic level (1.75-2ppm) by dosing 7ml~ per day.

When I get to therapeutic levels, how long should I leave my fish in this solution?

From Humblefish: Standard copper treatment lasts 30 consecutive days. The reason it takes so long is copper only targets the “free swimming stage” (the same holds true for all chemical treatments & hypo). While 7-14 days is the “norm” to reach this stage, certain strains of ich have a prolonged life cycle. Indeed, even 30 days may not be sufficient in some rare cases. This is why it is so important to observe after treatment ends, to ensure symptoms do not return.
