I am currently running a COR 15 pump through my Geos Reef sump with a built in manifold. My Apex is telling me I am getting 320 GPH on the way in to my return. By my math, I would gain at least 100 GPH switching to the COR 20. Does this sound correct? If so I will shelf the 15 as a spare and swap in a 20 this weekend.

Sounds about right. Those smaller DC pumps aren’t the best when it comes to head pressure.

I was using the Cor 15's for skimmer and water return. If for some reason the return went offline I could replace it with my skimmer since the plumbing is the same. Found a Cor 20 on sale one day so picked one up. Docs say the Cor 15 is up to 1500 gph while the Cor 20 is up to 2000 gph.

I do not have any flow sensor so I can't really say. I like them both though and now have 2 Cor 15's (skimmer and one return line) and the other Cor 20 on a secondary return line that has the longest plumbing run. I think your math is about right. I'm not sure how all of the head pressure and stuff works out in the end.

Pretty well built pumps though I have to say.
