I just installed the APEX COR15 and needing some guidance:

So in feed mode we turn on off the skimmer, wave pumps and reduce the percentage on the COR pump. What is a good recommended setting 1%? I am just concerned because as the water drains down to the sump,...you'll still have water pumping out of the return. Should I play around with it and see what the best setting is or is there something I am missing?

and does this mean cor runs for 10 minutes at 1%

if FeedA 010 then 1

I personally do not use a feed mode but I recall the during the initial setup of the Cor pumps one of the steps walks you through this. I think they called it the IQ Level Adjustment or something. Mr. Wizard walks you through this and from what I remember it will have a step to set it just enough so that water isn't draining or overflowing but holding steady.

Been a while since I've gone through it but I'm not using it anymore. I set them via the UI to ramp up/down with a virtual outlet called tide :)

Yup,...I went through all of that. So last night I stayed up figuring out feed modes through trial and error. Also a couple of posts on here helped to guide "trial and error" process. The biggest part is just remembering to put the right code at all the different ports that control skimmer, wav pumps, cor and so on. I got it all done.

The biggest reason I wanted to use a feed mode was because I am dosing with Red Sea A & B. I would rather it stay in the tank and get to the corals vs getting sucked back into the sump and not do any good at all.

Thanks for your replies!
