Hi, my cor_15 give me only 400gph at max in my flow metter, how can i up my flow. The actual plumbing is, 3/4 return gohing in 2x 1/2 loc line, this is how the aquarium was build if i change le 2x 1/2 loc line into 2x 3/4 loc line can i will get more flow from my COR-15? The aquarium is a 160g whit 40g sump. Thanks !!!

Btw the cor15 and 20 come with a 1 1/4 output fitting that is recommended to be used for maximum flow. It says this right in the documentation of the pump

You meen all do my pipe at 1" pvc then reduce it 3/4 at the upper pipe of the aquarium ?
Yes so you run the largest you can for as long as you can then reduce it to what you need. Also any 90 or elbow will reduce flow so use the least 90 you can

There are countless threads on this topic. Pumps lIke COR or Vectra that are not designed to handle back pressure will perform poorly when there is either head or friction losses. 1/2” locline is brutal for even pressure rated pumps. You will either need to upsize the return plumbing, live with 400 or replace the pump with something like a PanWorld or Iwaki.
